Ramator Oy increased the product range with NORMA pipe couplings!

NORMA pipe couplings are compact, economical and reliable means for connecting plain-ended pipes. They are suitable to join metal, plastic and concrete pipes and pipes made of stainless steel. They can be used in construction, shipbuilding, civil engineering and in hydro technology. The sizes are between 26 mm to 2 m. Ramator Oy and STX Finland Oy extended cooperation

STX Finland, Rauma Shipyard, has agreed to choose Valsir Pexal -waterpipesystems and Pexal Easy –pipe fittings for the two large car-passenger ferries they are building for the P&O Ferries. The delivery for the first ferry is scheduled to take place on November 2010. STX Europe is an international shipbuilding group which aims to be the leading builder of cruise and offshore vessels. P&O Ferries is the leading ferry-operator, which has 10 routes from Britain to Ireland, France, Spain, Belgium and Netherlands. The company operates with 27 ferries and employs 4500 persons.

Serto pipe fittings have been chosen for the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant

Teollisuuden Voima Oy (TVO) has completed the long and specified selection process in order to choose the best pipe fitting supplier for the Olkiluoto nuclear power plant. Ramator Oy imports the pipe fittings from Serto that fills the tight criteria that TVO has placed.

Ramator Oy expanded the assortment of the plastic pipe fittings

We have increased the assortment and amount of SERTO PVDF and PA plastic pipe fittings in our warehouse due to the increased demand. Therefore we are able to serve better our customers. In the central warehouse of Serto in Switzerland there are more than 10 000 items, listed in the catalogue n.13. In case of urgent need, the items can be delivered to customer within 24 hours! Sulzer Finland Pumps Oy has agreed to use Serto pipe fittings for the requiring pump applications it manufactures in Finland. Sulzer is one of the world’s greatest pump manufacturers. It has factories in Finland, Germany, England and USA.
